The Service and Process Performance Edition of WITNESS contains the core WITNESS ability to model any type of simulation problem whether it is a process flow, a service facility or indeed a production layout model The terminology used in this edition is tailored to the service industries, as are the majority of the designer elements sets and example models. The tutorial manual and the WITNESS workbook supplied are also specially tailored for this edition to include models relating specifically to particular types of process and service modeling (e.g. call centers, hospitals, retail, etc). A range of other models and tutorials include some other areas such as logistical control, supply chain and production. This edition of WITNESS is targeted primarily at organizations with a Service industry bias - however the models that can be created are not limited to this.
