The Manufacturing Performance Edition of WITNESS contains the core WITNESS ability to model any type of simulation problem whether it is production, logistical or indeed service based. The terminology used in this edition is tailored to manufacturing, as are some of the designer elements sets and the majority of example models. The tutorial manual and the WITNESS workbook supplied are also specially tailored for this edition to include models relating specifically to particular types of manufacturing (e.g. those including power and free conveyor systems, tanks and processors, etc). A range of other models and tutorials include some other areas such as logistical control, warehousing, supply chain, and so on. This edition of WITNESS is targeted primarily at organizations with manufacturing industry bias - however the models that can be created are not limited to this.
