3/3/2016 12:18 PM
Production Modeling Corporation (PMC) Senior Account Manager Amanda Moore and Account Manager Michael Hughes visited the A. Phillip Randolph Technical High School. Randolph CTC, part of the Detroit Public Schools, prepares its students for careers in the construction trades industry. PMC talked to the Computer Aided Drafting class about the leading edge technologies in the AEC (Architectural, Engineering, Construction) disciplines and on the importance of CAD tools in the real-world environment. The goal of the visit was to motivate students to go further in their education in Architecture and Engineering. The students were very excited to learn about the latest AEC tools such as Laser Scanning and 3D CAD modeling and they inquired about the certifications and degrees required for employment in the AEC Industry.
A special thank you to Randolph CTC principals Dr. George Peña – Director, Lawrence Neely - CAD Instructor, and Board Member Louis Fisher, owner of Architecture & Urban Design for welcoming PMC to the school.
