PMC Offers High-Tech Gift to the WA3

Production Modeling Corporation offered its services to the Detroit based Woodward Avenue Action Association to laser scan the interior and exterior Administration Building and Executive Garage. These scans are input into CAD (computer assisted drawing) programs to produce as-built drawings with incredible accuracy and will provide three-dimensional models of these structures. The images are so sharp they look like photographs. This project is in preparation of restoration and renovation plans for the facilities.

PMC volunteered its services in lean system implementation to the City of Detroit under Mayor Mike Duggan’s lean and value-added city services initiation.  PMC participated in the City Building Inspection processes for improving the inspection of rental properties and other commercial buildings.  The lean implementation project took place during the months of May through July of 2014 and Dr. Onur Ulgen and Zahra Badaoui of PMC participated in this project which also involved the city employees and volunteers from universities and other companies.
